Refund & Return Policy

Every piece is handmade with care and inspected before dispatch. We want you to love what you receive — if something isn't right, here's how we'll sort it out.
Damaged or defective in transit
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email vaidesigns@fastmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order ID
- Photos of the packaging and the damaged item(s)
We will arrange a replacement (if available) or a full refund to your original payment method.
Wrong item received
If you received the wrong item, email us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a return and reshipment at our cost.
Change of mind
Because each piece is made or hand-finished to order in small batches, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind. If you have second thoughts, write to us — we'll do our best to help.
Custom and made-to-order pieces
Custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun, except in cases of damage or defect.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order for a full refund any time before it has been dispatched. Once dispatched, the damaged-in-transit policy above applies.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your bank may take additional time to credit the amount.
